Another signal
I had two meetings the week before last with founders who wanted to meet up and pitch their startups. Since then neither have emailed to say thank you.
Didn’t they like me? Were they not grateful? Even, or rather especially, if they didn’t like what I had to say then I’d like to know.
I could emailed them, say thanks for meeting etc, and I’m sure that would prompt a reply but as they asked to meet me I haven't done that. It's sort of a little test.
Does it really mean anything? Maybe. I'm not precious about it but either way it all adds to my understanding of their quiddity.
